Founded in 2015, Shenzhen Huaju Scientific Instruments Co., Ltd. develops digital equipment for hydrology, water resources and irrigation districts. With more than a decade of field experience in China, Huaju integrates sensing, flow algorithms, telemetry, gate control and platform interfaces in-house.
Independent R&D
Huaju develops its own hardware, firmware, measurement algorithms and software interfaces. As of December 2024, its portfolio included 7 invention patents, 17 utility model patents, 23 design patents and 41 software copyrights. The core team includes professionals with experience at Siemens, Huawei and Mindray.
Water-Level and Flow Measurement
Radar, ultrasonic transit-time and ultrasonic Doppler technologies address varied channel geometries and hydraulic conditions. Products include RD-series radar instruments and arrays, HJ-UT transit-time systems and HJ-UD-A contact instruments. Weir/flume equations, stage-discharge relationships, site calibration and multi-point or zoned sensing support instantaneous and cumulative flow measurement; radar arrays have been applied in the Shijin Irrigation District.
Data Acquisition and Gate Control
The D430S data logger supports RS485, RS232, 4-20 mA, SDI-12, rainfall-pulse and digital inputs, plus local calculation, historical records and CSV export. Low-power telemetry provides interrupted-transfer recovery, remote configuration and diagnostics. HJ-DCK gates control water level, flow or gate position locally or remotely, while Modbus, MQTT, HTTP and TCP connect with Huaju platforms or existing SCADA systems.
Customization and Continuous Improvement
Hardware, firmware, algorithms and interfaces can be adapted for low temperatures, solar power, local communications, language requirements and existing platforms. The RD-306 combines telemetry, Bluetooth and solar-charge management with 4G, NB-IoT and LoRa. The 2026 RD-306 and D430S versions improve integrated deployment, open interfaces and commissioning; version histories and customer upgrade records document ongoing field-driven improvement.
Delivery and Cooperation Scope
Huaju supplies individual instruments or complete site-level measurement, communications and control subsystems, including equipment selection, channel surveys, calibration, interface adaptation and commissioning. Hydraulic or civil design, local permits and statutory metrology approval require coordination with appropriately qualified organizations.
